Mateo Seré

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Montevideo, a research affiliate at University College London, and an affiliate of the Centre for Social Policy at the University of Antwerp.

My work sits at the intersection of economics, data science, and public policy. I use causal inference, machine learning, and text analysis to study policy-relevant questions related to labour markets, technological change, innovation, and the design and evaluation of public policy.
